Standards of Practice & Code of Ethics

All home inspections are performed in accordance with the CAHPI(BC) Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.

These standards outline my responsibility to act in a fair, impartial, and professional manner, and to protect my clients by disallowing conflict of interest activities.

This is the best way to assure buyers that they are making a sound purchase decision based on valuable, objective information.

Who Is CAHPI?

The Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors (BC) is an association of professional home and property inspectors, representing
all regions of British Columbia.

We are committed to protecting consumers through our stringent membership requirements, mandatory ongoing training programs, and our detailed Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.

As of April 1, 2009 home inspectors have been required to be licensed to operate in British Columbia. Be sure to ask to see your home inspector's licence.

As of Sept 1, 2011, all Home Inspectors in Alberta must be licensed. We are happy to say AllProHomeInspection is fully licensed in BC and AB.
